In my experience, when cats are small, let them listen to more strange noises and play with more toys. Although the kittens will be a little scared at first, it won't take long for them to get used to it and remember the sounds and toys. This way when the kitten grows up, it will not be nervous about unfamiliar sounds and objects. This greatly reduces the stress reaction of kittens when they grow up due to seeing or hearing unfamiliar people or sounds. Severe stress reactions can even lead to the cat's death. So this is part of the socialization training.
