Knowing more about jungle life is something that fascinates and intrigues us, due to the great variety of jungle species that we find in jungles, deserts, swamps and on the African continent. And, among these animals, the Louva-a-Deus are some of the two most carnivorous animals that we know of.

It is an insect that has around 2,000 species, most of which live in tropical and subtropical environments. They are relatively large insects, with a triangular head, a narrow thorax and a well-developed abdomen.

They are aggressive predators that prey mainly on flies and aphids. Hunting is generally made from ambush, facilitated by the louva-a-deus' camouflage capabilities. In this video you will also see:
