Ficus (Japanese bobtail) and Giro (tuxedo cat) were both rescue kittens. We found Ficus hiding underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny, dirty, starving, skinny, and full of fleas and ear mites. He was about 3 months old.

Giro was rescued by another family when he was a tiny kitten. Ficus will turn 3 years old in September 2023 while Giro turned 1 recently. Giro was about 6 months old when he was introduced to Ficus. Since then the two cats have become regular playmates and have gotten very close. Sometimes they have spats and have real fights but they eventually reconcile. The two cats are best buddies.
