I often get the question; how is it possible that your cat stays so calm during grooming. I try to make grooming feel like petting for Bowie as much as possible because I want my Ragdoll cat to enjoy it as much as possible, so it is a lot easier for both Bowie and me. When I'm untangling, combing out, or shaving off a knot, it shouldn't hurt in any way. So that it doesn't become a struggle to take care of Bowie's coat. It took some time but Bowie now really trusts me with the grooming tools and just enjoys it. Special thanks to the professional groomer of DOA - Amsterdam, who showed me this.
