The Biden family has a gray shorthair tabby cat named Willow in their White House residence. First lady Jill Biden decided to adopt Willow after the cat interrupted one of her campaign speeches in 2020. Willow is named after Jill Biden's hometown, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, and is the first cat to live in the White House since the Bush administration.
