A tour around some of our hellebore beds & chat about light requirements

I was asked by several different people about where I planted my hellebores. This videos shows a variety of beds from deep shade to quite a bit of sun. Hellebore are fine as long as they don’t dry up in summer in rock hard ground nore are drowned in to much moisture during winter months. They do prefer partial shade and sun but can do well in full shade or full sun. When in full sun they do like to get watered on truly hot days. On very hot days I water them in the evenings not during heat of the day as this accelerates the evaporation process which is to be avoided. Hopefully this video answers lots of questions I’ve been asked. If not ask more questions and I shall do my best to answer via another video or in the comments beneath this video.

We sell, Zwartbles sheep, Zwartbles blankets and yarn made from the sheep, and calendars featuring Inca the World's Smallest Sheepdog and her coworkers. We also sell alpaca yarn spun for our own alpaca. Our yarns are 100 percent natural, grown by our sheep which grazing our small green Irish fields. This wool is naturally sequestered carbon which you can then knit into warm environmental friendly clothing.
