Simon and Luna (Burmese cats) are a bonded pair. This means they have a special friendship and are inseparable. Simon and Luna are not littermates, but they did arrive in our home as 4-month old kittens within a few weeks of each other. They grew up together and became best friends. In our home, they seek each other out and are constant companions. I tried to capture a bit of their special friendship in this video. While cat play is frequently a lot of fast chasing combined with ambush attacks (hunting each other) and "bunny" kicks to the belly (or head!), Simon and Luna frequently do a sort of "slow dancing" style of play together as demonstrated on the cat tree in this video. Luna LOVES this! And as seen in this video, she will often initiate the play. However, Luna does not enjoy playing with Teddy (another Burmese cat in our home) because he plays too hard and is more rough and aggressive as a playmate. (Don't worry! Simon is more than happy to play with Teddy and can handle Teddy's play style). One last thing I want to mention about Luna...she has very expressive eyes! You may catch a glimpse of what I mean by this in the video. We have always loved Luna's enormous expressive eyes! I hope you enjoy this cat video. ❤️
