Bengal cats are a cross between domestic cats and the Asian leopard cat, which is a wild cat that enjoys swimming and dipping their paws in water. They swish their paws to clear away any debris in water before they drink. Nova doesn’t do this before drinking, but she definitely does it for fun!
Every morning as soon as she hears the faucet turn on, she likes to watch me brush my teeth and wash my face. And when I’m back from Ezra’s walk, she’s in the shower before him to unnecessarily join in the paw washing. She’s also started watching me shower through the curtain, and I’m sure it won’t be long until she joins me in the tub... ????????
