On occasion of World Environment Day, I attended a bird trail on 4th June 2022 at Bhandup Pumping Station organized by ENVIS-BNHS (Environmental Information System Resource partner on Avian Ecology & Bombay Natural History Society supported by The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India). These are few glimpses of the trail.
The birds that we spotted were - Brahminy Kite, Painted Stork, Red Whiskered Bulbul, White Eared Bulbul, Common Kingfisher, Fantail, Cormorant, Plain Prinia, Baya Weaver, Black Kite, Sunbird etc.
