Our British Shorthair cat, Karl, needs to get some exercise. So we made a toy mouse on a string from the stick for him to play with and chase around. Karl does not move much, but this toy made him spin a lot and run around a little bit. At times the mouse would move so fast that he would get tired or get lost. He did manage to find it though. Watch how funny he looks as he walks! This a good and inexpensive way to make overweight cats exercise, as they still want to hunt small animals like mice.
