With our cat Karl, he seems to enjoy being petted everywhere, from under his chin to behind his ears. It seems like he really enjoys getting his forehead and the bridge of his nose touched. It seems almost therapeutic to these cats like it is a massage. Try to do this with your cat and maybe they will stay on your lap this time!
