Dunkin was determined to win Thunder over, and he did so by showering him with love and affection. At first, Thunder was unimpressed, but slowly, he began to realize that Dunkin was not a threat, but rather a new playmate. The two cats became inseparable, with Thunder even allowing Dunkin to sleep on his bed. From that day forward, Thunder was the proud mentor and best friend of Dunkin, and the two lived happily ever after, taking long naps in the sunbeams and playing with cat toys.
