We’re going away for the weekend and we decided to take Ficus with us. Cannot leave Ficus with his cat pal Giro since we are far and we’re going south of the big city while Giro lives north of the big city. In the big city, it’s just Ficus and myself in the apartment.

Hopefully Ficus will not be stressed out going on a car ride and spending 2 days in an unfamiliar place.

Ficus was a rescue kitten. He was about 3 months old when we found him underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny (most likely undernourished), quite dirty, skinny, full of fleas and ear mites). We brought him home to live with our 2 dogs, Emma & Shirley. The doggos didn’t like him in the beginning but they eventually accepted him. They’re best buddies. A few months after we rescued Ficus, we found out he’s a Japanese bobtail, a highly intelligent and playful breed. Ficus is turning 3 this September 2023.
