Ficus was a rescue kitten. He was about 3 months old when we found him hiding under a pickup truck. He was tiny, skinny, starving, full of fleas and ear mites. We brought him home to live with our 2 dogs - Emma & Shirley. Our home is in the countryside. Months later we found out that he was a Japanese bobtail. This breed is known for its very pleasant playful nature, is affectionate and highly intelligent. He turned 3 a few months ago.

Currently Ficus and I are in the big city where i still work. We are staying in a high rise apartment and Ficus is by himself when i am out for work. Every morning i say goodbye to him before i leave.
