Every time I’m preparing food in the kitchen, Ficus is there. He’s always interested to see what I’m doing. I let him smell and sometimes taste the dish I’m making. But he’s not an adventurous eater. He prefers food that he’s familiar with. He doesn’t like milk but he likes cheese which is a bit strange.
Ficus was a rescue kitten. He was about 3 months old when we found him hiding under a pickup truck. He was tiny, skinny, starving, full of fleas and ear mites. We brought him home to live with our 2 dogs - Emma & Shirley. The doggies didn’t like him at first but they eventually accepted Ficus. The 3 have become very close. Ficus turned 2 a few months ago. We found out he’s a Japanese bobtail months after we rescued him. That explained his very playfulness, unquenchable curiosity, intelligence, and loving nature.
