This another breed in focus and this time we are looking at the Abyssinian guinea pig, this is a truly unique cavy with intricate patterns of rosettes and ridges, in this video we look at the layout of the rosettes and ridges, we examine the breed standard and the colours that the Abyssinian and be shown under.

Simon neesam takes us through some of his top abys and gives us a detailed description of what to look for in show quality Abyssinians. We also get to see baby Abyssinians and how they develop.
