Banjo became lost on 15 September. Despite two and a half weeks of intensive doorknocking and searching, he wasn't found. On 13 October, he was filmed on a neighbour's CCTV camera, drinking water. It's believed he'd stayed hidden in a thick cypress hedge until starvation forced him to break cover.
