Japanese Bobtails have both longhair and shorthair variants. CFA divides cats into longhair and shorthair sections for shows - but also usually groups cats by breed, thus both longhair & shorthair Japanese Bobtails being grouped in the shorthair section. This also sorta explains Zots in longhair (Zots being shorthair Persians...).
The mi-ke color designation looks to be basically calico with a lot of additional white.
