Ragdolls in longhair kitten class judging at the 2019 CFA International Cat Show held in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
The judge is Vicki Nye.
And yes, despite my using a heavier tripod to minimize camera motion, that's been scuppered by the need to touch the camera's led screen to focus (just like your phone) 'cause otherwise the camera insists on focusing on anything but the cat. Seems camera focus systems just don't see cats (other than Sphynx - 'cause wrinkles). Touching the camera's led screen leads to unintentional camera motion - which I have to compensate for via software, thus extending processing time considerably as this, when color's not a problem, is the trickiest bit of the whole process. And no, I'm hopeless at 4K manual focus, the tolerance is VERY tight and I've found I can't get even close to a decent result once the focal point changes - and keeps changing as the cat's moved about.
