The silver tabby British Shorthair kittens are now two weeks old. They are growing up very quickly. At this age they have their eyes open, although their vision is very blurred. Their ears have also opened, although it will take more time for their hearing to fully develop. These kittens are mackerel tabbies and classic tabbies and bicolour tabbies. They are all black silver tabbies.
The kittens are still entirely reliant on their mum: she feeds them, cleans them, keeps them warm and toilets them. As they get a little older she will start teaching them how to hunt and play. She will also teach them how to interact with the world, and will play a major role in socialising them.
