The challenge here was to produce a short 'video postcard' showcasing the Islands stunning scenery and incorporating the 'unofficial' Manx national anthem sung by the Bee Gees.

Warm summer days free riding with ones true companion as the golden sunsets casts long shadows across the expansive wild landscape that is steeped in Celtic & Viking mythology, folklore, history and cherished personal memories.

A vision of freedom, adventure and nostalgia in keeping with the songs enchanting lyrics.

This project was inspired by and pays homage my Mum, who spent much of her time with the horses on this stretch of coast and these shots attempt to encapsulate the essence of what those carefree childhood days were like.
.
It's also one of the places I first learnt to ride on the wonderfully chaotic turbo ponies back in the day and a place that to me, on an evening like this, with a horse, is as close to 'Tir Na Nog' as one can get on this side of mortality.

A return to the simplicity, authenticity, true horsemanship and adventure.
