“Sophie turned 15 on July 5. I shot this video about a month ago. For a “grande dame” she’s still pretty agile. This morning as I began to go upstairs she rocketed up past me on the staircase without stopping and disappeared into our bedroom. I don’t know where she was headed but it could’ve been toward the stainless steel litter box in our bathroom. Well, as I am probably her equivalent age that’s probably what would have catapulted me up the stairs with such purpose.” – Doug Strodtbeck
