My life improved by watching this video, thanks
I love how cats are the least tolerant animals and this cat is putting up with a ferret flopping into the box trying to lick the cat’s mouth. Are ferrets to cats as cats are to dogs?
Ferrets are cat snakes
Our ferret passed away two years ago but before that she definitely bossed the cat around. When the cat was over it she'd either jump just out of reach or sit on the ferret. Both of which pissed off the ferret to no end.
I miss that noodle.
No, ferrets are ferrets to everything..
I love they just weaseled in there
Ferrets have like zero fear. Big dog, cat, doesn't matter they will bully themselves into being played with. My German Shepherd was cowed by my ferrets all the time. Ferrets have zero fucks that she could have got them in one gulp.
Nice cat but what a weird looking dog, is it a dachshund?
"Lets not forget Dude that keeping wildlife, um... an amphibious rodent, for... um, ya know domestic... within the city... that ain't legal either."
One of them seems more excited about sharing the box than the other…
If it’s an American curl like I suspect, it doesn’t have the same cartilage and bone issues that Scottish folds have.
It actually looks like the opposite. It looks like an American curl which curl backwards instead of flat to the head like Scottish folds.
It looks like an American curl to me. Their ears curl backwards instead of folding flat to the head like Scottish folds do.
They must have different densities. Normally two liquids would mix in a container.
This is cute, but please be aware of Pasturella (a bacetria found in cat saliva) and the toxic effects it can have on other animals- especially small rodents, like a ferret.
That is to say, pet cats and ferrets/rats grooming each other is cute, but could be problematic in the long run.
Not trying to be uppity or a debbie downer- I just learned this stuff, and it seems important, and I just hope it helps.
Ferrets are not in any way shape or form rodents
Additional detail, they are mustelids, a family of Caniform carnivores and are as such far more closely related to otters and (more broadly) dogs, and even cats than they are to rodents
Wonderful. Just don't post this to r/ ferrets or the mods will get upset.
My boys are quite interested in the cats. The cats generally are not interested unless they suddenly decide to play and then they usually regret that decision when they remember the ferrets are way tougher than they think
