We found Ficus hiding underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny, skinny, starving, full of fleas and earmites. We estimated that he was about 3 months old. We brought him home and he grew up with our doggies Emma & Shirley. Later on we found out that he was a Japanese bobtail. That explains his very playful nature. He’s also highly intelligent and lovable. Recently he turned 3 years old.

Currently Ficus is in the big city away from his doggie friends. He’s staying in a high rise apartment and he’s by himself during the day when I have to go out for work. He has several toys to play with and he’s crazy about boxes. I bring him an empty shoe box which he likes but unfortunately it’s not big enough for him.
