German Shepherd hike Viking and ironage graves on the coast of Bornholm
The four small mounds, seen within the closed area are the last visible site of a large iron and viking age cemetary, Part of the cementary was exavated in 1876 graves dated back to the 7th and 8th centuries ( The Ironage) underneath the stone mounds. then underneath the stone pavings there was discovered graves from the 9th and 10th centuries Viking age. all in the same spot. this was once a huge buriel site back in the day. We are very happy here that places like this are well preserved today and well looked after.in the video there is a sign that one can pause and read. Thanks for watching and reading this
