️**Socialization exercise** ️
First let me say there is a build up to an exercise like this. We do not throw a puppy in with something like this and hope they cope. We start small with sounds, textures and movements and grow. That being said our goal is to produce puppies and adult alike that are safe and confident in the public. You can't do that without a good foundation and a lot of training. October is a golden time of year for socialization. From Costumes, to noise it brings things every year. For us that means new and unique was to socialize. This year we have the inflatable T-rex. This pup (10 weeks old) was introduced for the first time to our newest challenge in the video. We have treats (which you may not be able see) on the floor around the Dinosaur's feet as well as feeding. He controls the interaction. At one point you'll even hear me correct my daughter when she tries to put him back there. We're building confidence and that comes in stages. Remember all training sessions need to be short especially at this age. Interactions like these are short but frequent. No more than 5 minute at a time. To see more about our program
