Giant Maine Coon Cat Decides He’s A Lap Cat!

Whilst Maine Coons are not usually classified as lap cats, Pippin, our super-sized cat now loves to jump on us whenever we sit on the sofa! Apparently, he must sit ON US rather than NEXT TO US, no matter how large the sofa is.

This wasn’t always the way though. Pippin was super poorly earlier in the year and this naturally made us intensify the level of affection and cuddles that we showed him. He was unable to walk without pain so we constantly picked him up, cuddled him, and always put him on/next to us when we sat down.

Since then, our cat has gotten used to this increased amount of attention and affection and has ultimately become a massive cuddle bug. There’s nothing he loves more than sitting on us as we watch TV or work.
