Bertha The Big Queen Ant
Bertha is a Texas leaf cutter ant queen. Because we started to see some freshly hatched larvae, we don’t actually know if she’s infertile or if she’s just been lying to us this whole time pretending to be infertile. Her adopted workers which came from her sister and her cousins are really the only thing keeping her alive. Without the workers, no one will clean the queen, cut the leaves and care for the fungus garden that is the colony's food which they grow. I’ll make another video on Bertha in a few days, so like this video and follow me to see the next update video on this colony
