Greater Egrets: Greater Egrets engage in elaborate courtship displays to establish and strengthen the bonds. They build nest in colonies and both the male and female egrets participate in nest construction. The female usually lays a clutch of eggs (2 to 4eggs) over several days and both the male and female take turns in incubating the eggs for about 25 to 27 days until they hatch. Both parents are actively involved in caring for the chicks. The chicks grow rapidly under the care of the parents and after about six weeks, the young egrets become fully feathered and are ready to leave the nest.#egrets #birds #nests #nature #reels #trending #video #viral #reelsinstagram
