Currently ex-rescue kitten Ficus and his hooman are in the big city. He has become very attached to his cat mum. He always wants to be beside her especially during breakfast time. He seems to sense that cat mum will be leaving for work soon and he’ll be alone in the apartment.

Ficus was about 3 months old when we found him underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny (most likely undernourished), quite dirty, skinny, full of fleas and ear mites). We brought him home to live with our 2 dogs, Emma & Shirley. The doggos didn’t like him in the beginning but they eventually accepted him. They’re best buddies. A few months after we rescued Ficus, we found out he’s a Japanese bobtail, a highly intelligent and playful breed. Ficus is turning 3 this September 2023.
