In West Bengal's Medinipur district, forest officials rescued an elephants after the animal had entered in a residential area on Friday. "The area was cordoned off to conduct the operation. We tranquillised the elephant. After observation, we will release the elephant in the forest," said a forest official. (Source: ANI)
