How To Brush Your Cat's Fur (even if they hate it!)

Here’s a short video on how to brush your cat's fur, even if they don’t like being brushed.

Meet Pippin, our male Maine Coon cat. He’s 9 years old and has long fur prone to matting if he’s not brushed almost every day.

I’m not sure how he makes such a state of his fur, but the fact is one of his parents had great fur and the other had fur prone to matting. Our Maine Coons genetics clearly followed the higher maintenance fur line ????‍♀️❤️

Maine Coon cats should be groomed/brushed 2-3 times a week, and more if their fur is prone to tangles and mattings. During the Wintertime the moisture in the air impacts Pippin’s fur and he requires daily brushing as he likes to roll over damp leaves, damp wood chipping, damp sand, etc, in the garden! ????
