A super duper fast pack first up this morning. We’ve got Sparty the Vizsla, Luna the Kelpie, Mallee the Brittany, Milo the Cocker Spaniel, Ernie the Speagle, Nova the Boxer all leading the way … but it’s the very young and very tall Ralph the German Short Haired Pointer that’s so far out in front we only get glimpses of him in the distance! Luke can only catch Ralph and Luna when he’s hitting top speed at 70 kilometres an hour (43 miles per hour).

Bronte the Golden Retriever represents well today, her Goldie pals, finding herself the last muddy puddle!

Luke introduces our 6 Cocker Spaniels in today’s pack. We’ve got Milo (Chocolate), Tupac (Chocolate), Minnie (Orange and White), Gypsy (Gold), Docker (Black), Basil (Black) and Ernie the Cocker Spaniel cross Beagle.

Luke talks about the breed and how we observe them at the farm. They’re high energy mostly, we have many other Cockers on other days too; show lines and working lines. Some are cuddle bunnies and others are non stop high energy like Milo who covers over 70 kilometres in a 24 hour period at the farm!

Bandit protests hard on a Wednesday when lure is finished for the day. He knows it’s his last day for the week and it’s worth everything he’s got for another run!
