Our animals are important members of our RichKat Ranch family. We've been involved in animal rescue since we moved to this property early in 2013. All of our dogs have been rescues, along with our current horse and mule, our horse Liberty who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2016, many of our ducks, and our Red-Eared Slider girl Yancy. There is nothing more gratifying for us than giving second chances to innocent creatures who need help. We've worked with Good Shepherd Rescue of Texas since June of 2013 - fostering and finding homes for almost 40 deserving dogs over the years. Three of our resident dogs have been "foster failures" - we brought them into our home thinking we would help them find new "furever" families, but we fell in love and added them to our own family! All of our animals are all pieces of our hearts.
