The majority of cats are simple to care for. Because of their independence, they prefer to satisfy the most of their requirements on their own if given the correct environment, with the exception of some social loving—on their own terms, of course!

However, because to their distinct physical and mental characteristics, certain cat breeds are simpler to care for and more "low maintenance" than others. Cats are mostly surrendered to animal shelters because they are unsuitable for their owner's house and lifestyle, so selecting a cat that fits you is critical.
