A Maine Coon is a large, rugged cat with a smooth, shaggy coat that appears to be capable of spending an entire day mousing on a farm in all weather conditions. Indeed, they were bred for such work in the harsh Maine climate, and their breed standard reflects this, requiring a medium-to-large cat with a well-proportioned body that is muscular and broad-chested.
The Korat is one of Thailand's most beautiful exports, with his silver-tipped blue coat and huge green eyes that are "as sparkling as dewdrops on a lotus leaf." He's also known for his heart-shaped head, large ears, and alert demeanor.
