What an amazing morning! I have to admit, even after a dozen years of helping goat mamas kid, I was really nervous heading into these late season deliveries. We never have babies late July so the anticipation has been building, both mamas are first fresheners and Maisy can be a little shy so I wan't sure how she would respond to kids. After today it was clear I had no reason to worry! In an hour she had three perfect tiny kids. (Named after Civil Rights Leaders by farm friend Curtis who comes almost every Saturday to sit with the goats in the pasture!) I can't wait to watch them grow up and am so proud of Mama Maisy! You can see them on the live cam and perhaps even catch Taylor having her kids! I am elated!!!! Sorry for the looooong video, but every second fell like a miracle I wanted to savor.
