Meet Mercedes! She is about 5 years old, fixed, up-to-date on shots, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.

Mercedes is a sweet cat who loves to be petted and will snuggle and purr next to you once she is comfortable. She may spook if you move too quickly and it helps if you actively chat with her as you approach. She may hide from new people at first, but once she gets comfortable, she loves being pet and nuzzling you. She especially likes to be pet on her head, shoulders and also loves cheek and chin scritches. She even sleeps on the bed with her foster humans.

She's a little hesitant, at first, around other kitties but likes to play and chase once she's comfortable. She's quite verbal! She will beg or chat with tiny mews. She is very curious, mostly independent, and likes to lounge during the day. She may not be good with dogs or small children, due to her shyness. She likes calmer cats better. Note: she has had seizures in the past but has been weaned off all medications without any issues. We are looking for a family to give her the love and the life she deserves.

She is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make her a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $100 will benefit other CPR rescue animals.
