Meet Negrito! He's around three years old and solid black like a lil house panther... and he's a very scared boy!! He came from a home with more than a dozen cats, and while most of them were pretty social, it's clear that NcB was not given much attention. He's currently in our free-roaming cat room (Kitty City) with three of the other scaredy cats from his previous home: Tiger, Negrito con Blanco, and Bjork. Negrito likes to relax in one of the boxes on the wall, often with just a leg poking out! We have such hope for him that he will eventually become more friendly and socialized with his adoptive family!

Negrito may enjoy going to a home with another cat-social cat or two. He may also like being adopted with one of his three current friends, so he has someone familiar around. He has never lived with young kids or dogs before and based on his behavior, we think he would do best in a home without either. Older, very calm and patient and quieter kids who can go at his pace would probably be ok.
