I am from: Maine
I would do best in a home: who wants to add 16lbs of love to their family!
Phillis (or Philly, as her foster parents affectionately call her) is a wonderful cat looking for her forever home. She has been on a weight-loss journey and has become much more active and playful as a result. She's starting to play with her toys more--especially her favorite crinkle toy. She is known for doing the “Philly Flop,” where she’ll get in the middle of everything and flop down so someone can rub her belly. She enjoys her quiet time, but she will also follow her foster family around the house, and she’ll hang out with them in the living room. She loves to be pet, groomed, and likes to sit next to you on the couch.
In her foster home, she has been living with children and has been very patient and loving towards them. She has also been living with another cat, with whom she has been getting along well. She would do well in a home that can continue to provide her with exercise and interactions that will promote her getting back to a healthy weight. We are not sure how Phillis feels about dogs, but our team is happy to discuss introductions with resident pets.
