Rusty was found after suffering an injury when he had tried to go over a wooden 6 foot fence and he slipped causing his leg to go down in between the slates. Rusty was hanging upside down by the trapped leg for over 14 hours before someone noticed him. Due to the restriction of blood flow and damage to nerve endings, it was recommended the leg needed amputation. He is doing well following surgery and needs a loving home.
