Meet Tsifira, a beautiful gray tortoiseshell cat, pronounced Sigh Fear Ah, who was rescued as a skinny, frail, and feral kitten at just 10 weeks old. She was found outdoors in a courtyard, and fortunately for her, she found her way into the heart of a kind soul who took her in and gave her a new chance at life.

From the beginning, Tsifira formed a special bond with her rescuer. She was always laying on him, never biting, always purring, but with her rescuer's friend, it was a different story. No matter how much attention was poured upon her, Tsifira would lightly bite her friend, so-called love bites. However, her rescuer never gave up on her, and with time and patience, Tsifira slowly learned to trust her friend more.

Tsifira's exact breed is unknown, but her size, narrow nose, and other characteristics suggest that she's likely an American Shorthair. Her beautiful gray tortoiseshell coat is quite rare, as most torties are black with gold. Some people even consider the gray tortoiseshell to be the luckiest cat.

Despite her beauty and unique coloring, Tsifira is quite submissive to her larger feline companion, a Sokoke named Indy. When it's mealtime, Tsifira allows Indy to get his fill before she eats, even though there are two bowls. Indy is a clever cat, and if his dish is empty, he'll follow you and stand up on you to get your attention.

Tsifira may have had a tough start to life, but with her rescuer's love and care, she's now a happy and healthy 20-year-old cat. Her sweet personality and unique coloring make her a one-of-a-kind feline friend who brings joy to everyone she meets.
