After having Moxie over a month, I provide a review based on her capabilities, issues and my thoughts as an adult. I do not have children. I am not a child. I do have a lot of robots, though.
There are a few extra points not mentioned in the video that I'd like to mention. One, Moxie has gotten about 2-3 updates each week based on user feedback or bug fixes. The updates are organized and the software hasn't been glitchy other than a few minor issues (like animal breathing kept defaulting to bumble bee as one example).
Next, Moxie's parent app and setup are easy to use. This is a very organized project that appears to have taken a lot of time in user testing, since most everything is straightforward.
Next, I changed my WiFi at one point, and it was easy to setup Moxie on the new WiFi details, which is important.
Finally, I cover so many of her capabilities and functions in the review video that I didn't really talk that much overall about my thoughts on her capabilities. She is intended for a child, but most activities are enjoyable for an adult. The G.R.L. missions are the main ones that it would be nice to turn off if you don't want to do them for an adult. For a child, it would be good for parents to be able to turn off the G.R.L. random chat if a parent many not be comfortable with that option.
I hope you enjoy the review and details about Moxie. Do you think she's worth the price tag? Let me know in the comments!
