Drive through exotic Mumbai Pune Expressway. It is the first expressway in India which is also the busiest highway corridors forming part of the golden quadrilateral on the Mumbai-Bengaluru-Chennai arm. Officialy known as Yashwant Rao Chavan Expressway is the first 6 lane concrete expressway connecting the commercial capital of India, Mumbai with Pune. he expressway starts at Kalamboli in Raigad District's Navi Mumbai and ends at Kiwale in Pune. It cleaves through the scenic Sahyadri mountain ranges through passes and tunnels. One would just love to drive and ride as well on the expressway especially if it is monsoon season with the lush green hills and some beautiful waterfalls. The expressway bypasses the tourist destinations such Khandala, Lonavala etc.
