Watch a cute Rose-ringed parakeet or a "Ring necked parakeet" carefully guards her home. This was taken at early spring, when these birds build their nests.

The RoseRingedParakeet (#PsittaculaKrameri) is found many parts of the world as introduced birds, but are native to the Indian subcontinent and parys of Africa.

Bird Information:
Name: Rose ringed parakeet (Binomial name: Psittacula krameri)
Habitat range: Native to parts of Africa and Indian subcontinent/ South Asia but introduced to many parts of the world.
Shot at area/ Location: West Bengal, India.
