OK, I'll be honest I have conversations like this with my cats ALL THE TIME. I have to admit that I'm quite a neurotic cat owner. Always wondering if my cats are happy or if they like me. And yes, I do ask them questions, even if I know that they can't answer me directly. It just became a habit so I only notice it when my husband giggles while listening or when I hear myself on video recordings. I think the cat is out of the box now (no pun intended), I might be a crazy cat lady.

Background Story

I have two black cats, Mimi and Nathaniel. Both went through a tough time before we rescued them. Both of my cats are seniors now and although they look the same, they are not related. They were both incredibly shy when we adopted them, but they've come a long way in the past few years and they became good friends.
They love doing all sorts of silly things that cats usually do. And more... :) They're also trying to work out their special Cat Romance in which Nathaniel friend-zoned Mimi, but Mimi's ever-lasting, unrequited love will burn forever.
I hope my cat videos will show how lovely and sweet black kitties are and will help diminish some of the still existing prejudices against them. Black cats have a real difficult time getting adopted and they have a higher chance of getting euthanized.
They all deserve a chance.
