Bowie, our Ragdoll cat, meows for attention and lies on his back, which usually means he wants a belly rub. But he immediately grabs my hand, bites, and scratches with his hind legs. Many years ago I had a cat that bit me until I bleed and scratched me when I touched its tummy. Not Bowie, he doesn't really bite and with scratching, he holds his nails in. I know not all Ragdolls are the same, but maybe this is another sweet Ragdoll trait.
