Physical examination is a cornerstone of decent stockmanship. Here I talk about how I do a ram, or tup, MOT. About 20% of tups are consistently identified as having less than adequate fertility.
If you haven't done any before, I recommend having your vet walk you through a few, or even just getting them to do it for you - it will be money well invested.
NB If you're not from the UK, an 'MOT" = 'Ministry of Transport' test i.e. an annual check-up of motor vehicles. The term is used in common parlance in the UK as a general check-over.

I'm Kaz, a young farm vet working in Northumberland, which is in the North East corner of England. I grew up in the city and found myself doing this job by a very happy coincidence.
This channel is an attempt to show my friends, family, and anyone else who cares, what I do on a day-to-day basis. If you have an interest in veterinary medicine, farming, food or the countryside, join me for the ride.
