Royal Albatross ~ Cute As A Button! ♥ Royalcam Chick Closeups! LGK Is Back For A Feeding 5.4.21

LGK arrives back for a nice feeding this morning right after the princess got weighed! Ranger Theo walked by below the hill as LGK was coming to his nest. Our sweet girl was very vocal in asking for her squid smoothie and LGK gets right down to business and gives her a good feeding! Beautiful closeups of them together! LGK departs and walks off to the right and as soon as he left, neighbor GLG arrives and walks past the Royalcam chick. She clacks at GLG who is walking up to her chick for a feeding as well. Great zooming on the white fluffy princess today who is cute as a button at 100 days old today! Thank you for watching!

~~ LGL hatched in 2008 and is a 12 year female paired with LGK hatched in 2009 an 11 year male. They have been together since 2017 and became our Royalcam couple for the 2018/2019 season. Their first breeding season produced an egg but it later died. In 2019 their chick Karere fledged successfully. LGL laid her egg on Nov. 7th 2020. LGL/ LGK are the Royalcam couple for the 2020/21 season! The chick hatched on January 24th 2021.
