This sweet, Savannah Bengal was dumped at a local shelter right before Thanksgiving. Her family of 6 years had given her away after she became extremely sick with an upper respiratory infection, severe skin allergies, and was deemed pregnant.

When we heard about Elsa’s story, we knew we couldn’t turn our backs on her as others did. We took her in and quickly learned she was not pregnant after she went into heat. That being said, Elsa’s spay surgery is scheduled for December 6th.

In rescue life, there's always something that comes up and surprises you. A week after taking Elsa into our care she developed ear mites. Her foster has no other animals and has kept Elsa as an indoor cat. We've never seen something like this develop a week after intake. That being said, we are committed to helping Elsa through her upper respiratory infection, ear mites, and allergies to the best of our abilities.
